Bangkok food culture traces back to the 15th century as a major trading post. With this access came an inmense amout of culture, diversity and complexity of urbanization. Bangkok's rapid growth became influential not only in Asia but its culture and food has been embraced and desired in the West. The client wanted to brings those flavors and culture into an accessible fast-casual experience where quality of food, value of product and experience merged into one.
We worked closely with the architect to develop not only a new brand but also a new architectural experience for a Thai fast-casual concept. The process included research, visioning session, brand identity, corporate identity and environmental graphics. The brand experience integrates iconography, colors, photography and custom architectural graphics that allows those who haven't experienced Bangkok to capture a sense of the street culture, while simultaneously providing a moment of nostalgia for those who have.
