Submerged type was a typographic experiment to explore and create distorted types through the use of a conventional typeface, Din to challenge type conventions. It uses cornstarch goo and the infusion of sound waves ranging from 40-80 Hertz to generate intense vibrations to submerge types, creating interesting contours distortions in the process.
