Results of the integral inquiry for the Portuguese Traditional Architecture.
Between 1955 and 1960, after a long and persistent determination it was possible to sistematize Continental Portuguese Architecture, allthough the objective was, naturaly, to have the whole territoire systematized.
These 3 volumes demonstrate since a long term Portuguese Architects have a great consideration and respect for their common architectural and territorial history as the ancient border defined country in Europe. Since 1139 a.d.
Only with this knowledge we can intervene appropriately and objectively on the territory, on its built environement and preserving its Ancestral History.
