The Briefing
Millions of people over the world want to contribute to building a sustainable future. One of the biggest problems was that consumers, scientists and manufacturers had no comprehensive overview of the rapidly evolving knowledge on products and materials. To guide those people in their actions towards sustainable growth, MaterialSource wanted to provide fast and easy access to a multilevel communication platform and a globally shared materials library.

Our Role
We conceptualized and designed a multiplatform MaterialSource universe, where peers from around the world could join to offer their points of view on different materials and inspire each other. We strived for a new way of interfacing, approaching it from a holistic point of view. Working with cutting-edge technologies such as HTML5 and native iOS development, we made sure the platform performs world-class in the browser and on your iPhone and iPad.

The Result
MaterialSource sheds light on the materials decision-making trail of everyone who creates, builds, designs or manufactures on this small planet. We created the ultimate gateway to a universe where materials can be viewed, compared, rated, added and discussed. The purpose is clear: let’s all start committing to creating a sustainable future for Mother Earth.
