Kit Kat | Design Break

Background:
The ‘Salone Internazionale del Mobile’ and Fuorisalone make up now a well-established and internationally renowned event which attracts every year hundred thousands of operators in the field, design lovers and tourists from Italy and abroad.
The event has now attained growing proportions and importance, earning itself a prominent role which goes beyond a simple trade fair. It is an exclusive place for meeting among designers, trend-setters and architects, but also a showcase for design and visual art enthusiasts.
This is an extremely varied context, rich in inspirations and innovative ideas, in which Kit Kat finds a place that is extremely consistent with its positioning and the orientation to innovation, benefiting from the media visibility, the exposure to a selected target and a value added generated by the match with a unique context.
 
Objective: 
The city is dotted with installations and exhibitions which are found along challenging paths rich in brilliant ideas and interesting things. Visitors therefore are bombarded by the quantity and variety of the works exhibited which creates the perfect occasion to take a very original Break with Kit Kat.
 
Design Break: 
For the Milan’s Fuorisalone, Kit Kat humorously reinterprets the concept of a break. From April 12 to 19, in Via Tortona no. 20, visitors to the event will get the chance to take an original break from the challenging paths of the design world. The installation devised by JWT is based on the awkward shapes of a few ‘design beds’: the vertical bed, the convex bed, for example, give way to the reassuring normality of the classic bed branded Kit Kat, an unmistakable invitation to allow yourself a “break from design.”
