This is a project I worked on in my Word & Image class. The assignment was to choose a song by an artist with a cool story and create a music package with at least 5 spreads. I chose "Wavin' Flag" by K'Naan (a rapper born in Somalia during the Somali Civil War who faced unspeakable trauma in his childhood and learned English by listening to NAS).
I chose to make a flutter book so I could have regular spreads that fold out into a [waving] flag if you flip it over. I also made a little case for the CD and booklet.
