This brief was to design furniture that must be flat pack able and easy to assemble in keeping with the popular design tradition. The final design as decided upon by the board was the ''Orbit'' four tier coffee table. Named so because the table top(s) can be changed as they center around the stand. For the brief an inspirational designer was to be drawn from, I chose Marc Newson as I have always (unbeknownst to me) loved his designs and his work always seems to have a certain punch. The ''hot red'' seemed a proper finish.
