With my artwork, I often get into a zone
I have to first have an emotional connection with my subject. A feeling for the colors, what medium, what size...how do I want to pursue this beautiful moment.
I really like pencil, prismacolor pencil, pens, and mixing them with gouache, acrylics, watercolor backgrounds. I also do this with pastels, wax pastels and more. I really love photo realism...but I also love pushing my comfort zone and being more loose with my artwork. Just depends on my mood.
