Creating type and logo treatments

Typography & Logos
Having fun with type and art treatments
I'm currently falling in love with Illustrator and it's many capabilities. Photoshop continues to be a favorite software program as well. So often, as a graphic designer, I get thrown into a project with the best intentions of creating what's in my head. But thanks to the beauty of blogs and internet searches, I rely on good tutorials to teach this old dog some new tricks. And I have to say, I have a new found appreciation for the wonderfully creative people out there ...who give of their time and knowledge for all of us to learn, often for free.

So here are some of the projects I've created recently, with more to come.
Personal logo created in Photoshop.
Logo for an artists faux wall finish company, and a business card. It's mean't to have a 3-D letterpress effect on a brushed metallic background.
A logo type treatment that I created for a young up & coming singer/songwriter from England. I wanted to give him a neon, nightclub, retro font feel similar to some of my old album covers from back in the day.
