The design process for this wall began by manipulating a household object.  The shape of the original object- a pyramid, is reflected in the metal edging of each module.  Felt was used to provide the necessary tactile contact with the user in it's function as a dividing wall while also providing visual and acoustic privacy.  Finally, the design also houses a work surface with an accompanying light that rotates out from above.  The repetitive modules stack up the steel structure, alternating orientations to create an undulating geometric pattern.
