Diptych portraits in interaction

A series of diptych portraits in interaction. The first portrait acts, the second have to respond to it or just suffer the consequences (not quite easy to explain with text).

I would like to thank Mina for her availability, infinite patience and incredible number of body and facial expressions available, despite a lame actor director : "yeah, do your funny face like this, yeah you know with your eye like this... and yeah with your left arm like that... no your other left arm..."
Retrospective of the serie in a youtube diaporama.
First photograph of the series, hope you will enjoy it.
- The cause : the yell
- The consequence : destroyed ears
Here is the second photograph of the series "diptych portraits in interaction".
This time, short-sightedness is the cause and the consequence is a soft focus...
At the end, I found her facial expression absolutely priceless!
Third photograph of the series "diptych portraits in interaction".
Once again, I overstepped my own rules for that series... Indeed, the arm of the first Mina sticks out of the frame.
During the post production, I choose to care more on the facial expression of Mina, which is the main component to tell the story. I got some other materials but less expressive.
I really like this curious stare which scans the bottom of the snowball...
Fourth photograph of the series "diptych portraits in interaction".
I could not continue having fun with the original concept of this series without broaching my interest for fake self-portraits.
Done with that piece with Mina taking a picture of her alter ego, or in my point of view achieving a nonconsenting self-portrait.
Fifth photograph of the series "diptych portraits in interaction".
When I started working on this series, I knew I would produce two types of photos ...
First category, reflexive work with nice wordplay... and second category, just playful photographs, just for fun.
This photograph with a Wiimote getting on stage is obviously a part of the second category.
Sixth photograph of the series "diptych portraits in interaction".
After the Wiimote effect, another interaction due to an electronic device.
Once more, priceless expressions of Mina made the main interrest of the photograph !
Seventh (seventh!) photograph of the series "diptych portraits in interaction".
I've always been a big fan fan of the popular "I'm with stupid" joke, this informative message that targets the innocent victim who has the misfortune to be at our side.
It seemed so obvious with the concept of the series, i was bound to shoot this interaction.
Eighth photograph of the series "diptych portraits in interaction".
Now, it's time to play with the basic rules established in the series...
Love the face on the first photographwith Mina pretending to speak to a cup :)
Ninth and penultimate photograph of the series "diptych portraits in interaction".
A small extension of the first photograph #1 : The yell, but now Mina B reacts and tries to get out of the frame.
Tenth and final photograph of the series "diptych portraits in interaction".
The series ends logically with a fade to black...
I wish to thank again Mina, who helped me to sublimate what I had in mind.
