For this particular assignment, a lot of research was involved. To design a facility for cancer treatment, you really have to understand all of the processes a patient goes through. We worked with Partners on this 80,000 square foot project that includes a cafeteria, day treatment center, spa, and fitness center, as well as patient rooms and administrative areas. The different colors on the plan indicate the different zones of spaces. This was my first healthcare project.
