When I first heard of the Bolinas Museum, I assumed it was a small room in Bolinas filled with oil-painted landscapes of Marin. Once I actually got to know the museum, I found it was the home of an awesomely eclectic mix of both modern art and Marin heritage. To better communicate this artistic dichotomy, I created a type treatment to represent the museum that merged both modern san-serif and classic serif typography.
Collateral /
The museum has a series of openings and fundraising events throughout the year that need to be promoted. I created a consistent visual language used across all communications including programs, brochures, post cards and e-blasts to speak to the museum's diverse mix of showings and events.
