Transparency and Layering Content in the construction of a book
  • As part of a graphic design course taught by Jen Harmon I began exploring how the perception of an image can be altered through subtle changes in its construction or content through layering.
  • Designed to be read in multiple ways, the book is constructed as an accordion of french folds with a cover that pulls off to allow content to be read from beginning to end on either the front or back of the pages, or to be viewed as a continuous strip.
