In early fall 2012, I made a wedding dress for my friend Ariadne. A creative soul herself, we met while working at a leather studio in Brooklyn. She had been married to her husband Alex for eight years, but was planning a recommittment ceremony to share with their families in Brazil, who hadn't had a chance to witness their civil ceremony in New York. With her creative and precise taste in mind, I proposed a simple dress with a knot front detail, made in linen with a lightweight silk lining. The rest, as they say, is history!
