Maxpedition® was established in 1988 as a brand fabricating hard-use military specification nylon gear.
In 2011 Edgy Gear, Inc. decided to re-brand and create a campaign that would establish better brand awareness to military officials and new markets.
The budget was small and competitors where aggressive...but the solution was COMICS! After extensive research I decided to shift the brand toward the "Comic-Con kids", not only are most military folk already involved with the lifestyle but it open doors to a hall new & untouched market.
This way we kept our loyal hard-use customers and gained new fans like G.I.Joe & Tank Girl.
Work involved stylized signature characters, merchandise, packaging, marketing materials, vendor guide lines and displays, web work, photography and lost of strategy.
