Greenpeace is a non-governmental environmental organization with offices in over forty countries and with an international coordinating body in Amsterdam. Greenpeace states its goal is to “ensure the ability of the Earth to nurture life in all its diversity” and focuses it’s campaigning on world wide issues such as global warming, deforestation, overfishing, commercial whaling, generic engineering, and anti-nuclear issues.
This non-issued government institute that focuses on the awareness, research and implementation of global environment wanted a campaign that could create a buzz, and spread the word of side effect and health problems caused by pesticides in foods.
