Connect for Creativity | Research Report Design

Connect for Creativity is an 18-month project led by the British Council, in collaboration with ATÖLYE and Abdullah Gül University in Turkey, Bios in Greece, and Nova Iskra in Serbia. The project aims to form a network of creative hubs across Europe to foster creative exploration and collaboration that contributes to building a more cohesive, open, and connected civil society.

One of the project’s activities, the research report, “Creative Hubs - Opportunities and Challenges for Intercultural Dialogue,” explore the role that creative hubs might play in developing intercultural dialogue focusing on for countries: Greece, Serbia, the UK, and Turkey.

We built Connect for Creativity's design system on core values born out of three abstract concepts: empathy, engagement and empowerment. Consequently, we employed a visual language that is conceptual in nature.

We brought the brand to life through a diverse range of practical applications, such as venue branding for the conferences. However, the research report provided the most opportunity for enriching the brand's visual language with a number of unforseen applications like background gradients, graphs and tables, and maps.
