ABOUT RE/8 DESIGN PARK 2013
RE / 8 Design Park is designed as a multimedia expression of local and international designers during the week dedicated to eco-design. The event includes multiple platforms, guided by professional people, aiming to educate and inform citizens about the new direction in art, but also the consent of as many young people to think and act in human creativity for sustainable development. Particularly interesting seminars, workshops and interactive discussions will be the best way to give young people accurate information about the global trends and how design and art act towards eco-design and recycling art.

International exhibition of recycling art DisREpair od Art will open this year Week of eco design RE/8 Design Park 2013 which will be held from 6 -12 July in Novi Sad.
Theme of the exhibition are eight concepts: redesign, reconstruction, recycle, remake, review, reproduction, restoring and reanimation in which the authors will find inspiration for the materialization of his works. The exhibition is open to all interested individuals, as well as members of the artistic and professional associations, and also for students and pupils. Each participant may apply with maximum two art works or whole.

The concept of the exhibition is the use of recycled materials, deconstruction of form and redesign the contemporary applied arts. The selection of forty works by local authors with installations of guest artists will be exhibited in the Club "Tribina Mladih" in Cultural Center of Novi Sad. Works should function independently as a whole, as well as a common message and idea form a symbiosis and be a part of one big team art work.
Invitation to all interested artists and designers to participate in an International group exhibition DISREPAIR OF ART on Week of Eco Design and recycling art 'RE/8 DESIGN PARK 2013'
All interested can make a photos of finished art works that correspond to the given topic, or drafts of works that the authors will be able to realize up to 5 July 2013. Send your registration on info@re8designpark.com no later than Sunday 9 June, when will be made a selection of art works that will be exhibit at RE/8 Design Park 2013
Applications should contain the following information: the photo of the finished art work, tehnical drawing, 3D display designed as a prototype or as a drawing in PDF or JPG format (resolution 640 x 480 dpi), the name of the author, title of art work, dimensions, technique, a short description of concept – abstract (no more than 200 characters), and contact information.
All artists whose art works get in the selection will be contacted by phone or by email.
