Tijana and Mila Popović are actively engage in graphic,fashion and industrial design based on ethical and ecological principles andpostulates. Until now, they have exhibited their designs at independent as wellas group exhibitions and shows in , ,Rome etc. The “Fairies from the Heart of the “ premiered in june of 2011. in England atthe Brighton Fashion Week in Brighton, and the home audience will be able tosee it in Novi Sad, on June 5.

For the first time, designersfrom were visiting the recently held fifth annual Skopje Fashion Week. Tijana andMila POPOVIĆ have represented theirown 2012. spring/summer collection cakked „Fairies from the Heart of the Forest“. The Tijana and Mila Popovicdesigner duo have made a presented themselves to the Macedonian audience with aHigh fashion collection, where the dominating factors are white, beige andgold, it is hand crafting, embroidery and unconventional form. 15 models,mostly dresses, were created as the reconstruction of used items in combinationwith organic and natural materials.

The concept of this year’s SKFWwas based on ecology, recycling application and environmental protection, wherethe ARE YOU RECYCLING slogan had left its mark on the entire event. Consideringthat the Popović sisters arethe only designers in whose ethics and design are directed solely at sustainable development, thelink between the two authors and this year’s themed SKFW is obvious, so theinvitation to Tijana and Mila from the FW organizer came as no surprise.
