"Everything is, will never be again" Exhibition Kiel, GER | 2019

Three years after graduating from the Muthesius University in Kiel, Base23 moved to Berlin in February 2004. At the end of August 2019 he had the opportunity to participate in the exhibition "Everything is, will never be again" in the old building of the Academy of Fine Arts. The installation "A Piece of Berlin in Kiel" refers to the everyday situation of the city, which is constantly changing, where the old is renovated and preserved, or something new, not always to the delight of the residents, is created. The viewer might rather expect a well-known landmark of Berlin in the title, but the work points with a wink to the current situation and refers in color, for which the city is known among other things, on the vibrant nightlife and club culture.
