LXII began its life as a monotype type experiment inspired Jurriaan Schrofer. With each character navigating a strict 4X4 grid and attempting to fill the space as much as possible. After a full heavy weight latin character set was created it was then taken to the other extreme - A thin version and 7 weights in between. LXII also has a heap of discretionary ligatures to further blur the line between typography and image.

LXII is available from metis-foundry.com it comes in 9 separate weights or one variable.
