This project was a themed brief based around the word ‘PAPER’ The aim was to communicate anything you wish. I chose to show the varied amounts of paper consumed within the world’s continents. An A3 atlas was cut up so each page represented a world map. The pages layers up creating different heights for each continent. Each page represents 376,099 tonnes of paper consumed a year, as a result, the higher the stack of pages the more paper is consumed by the continent.

The project is now being exhibited at a paper exhibition within Staffordshire University for the next 6 weeks. Anyone can view if interested or within the area. There are over 15 selected works from all Graphic Design 3 year students
