The story behind the game: “The world is broken. MegaCorps manage every aspect of life from the top floors of their sky-scraping fortresses. Down below, the streets are run by drug-pushing gangs, tech hustlers, and illegal braindance slingers.
The in-between is where decadence, sex and pop culture mix with violent crime, extreme poverty and the unattainable promise of the American Dream. You are V, a cyberpunk. In a world of cyber-enhanced street warriors, tech-savvy net runners and corporate life-hackers, today is your first step to becoming an urban legend.”
Research.
Concept.
The notion that in the future, 2077 to be precise, technology is omnipresent to everything we do is reflected on the game’s website.
The digital platform “breeds” technology, speed and glitch to build a cyberpunk atmosphere, regarding the punk interactive world that the creators of the game envisioned.
Style.
The platform is visionary and futuristic, taking into account the aesthetics of cyberpunk culture. The colour palette envisions a visual background for what technology could represent in that era.
Components.
The different visual elements were included to represent a futuristic world where people are accustomed to electronic interfaces and devices. Speed, cyborgs and the trade of buying and selling of electronics are materialized in elements such as glitch or blurred lines.
