The request was to rebrand and unify all our social media content with a simpler image. The new logo is a cleaner and simplified version of the eagle's head from the masthead of the newspaper in a circle, with the "Gulf News" in two lines for optimization of space, clearly visible and legible in any size, and it could be used as a profile picture for any Social Media Outlet.
In the past, I branded all the video products independently to differentiate the kind of content but always keeping the Gulf News branding as a priority, just using different color, elements and animation to give a personality to each one of the products like: "News headlines", `'Special reports", "Entertainment", etc.
The new logo would substitute all that and the former "eagle over the world" logo, also it will Id and unify all the videos and content for social media just adding the name of the section or product to the right in a sans serif font. The most important element of social media branding is consistency. Inconsistent branding is confusing.
