Granite Bay Brewing Company is a fictional start-up creating a variety of beers and located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Concepts for the Granite Bay Brewing Company logo were inspired by the shapes of the competition’s logo's and were designed according to the key concepts of the sun, surfing, the beach and the environment which were provided in the brief. I experimented with imagery of water, beer barrels, sun rays and surf boards in the logo prototypes.
The logo incorporates all aspects of the company in its design. It is colourful and bold and will stand out amongst competition, as well as appeal to the local market. The use of gold in the printed version represents the sunshine that Queensland is so well known for. A logotype version is also included for situations where the main logo can't be used such as bottle labels.
