Storybook Plus (or Storybook+) is a web-based media player—developed with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery—to deliver multimedia presentations including quizzes.
Storybook+ lets instructors organize and present course materials effectively. With it, students can easily access online content in small sections through a table of contents in the player's sidebar. The player can handle a variety of content types like videos, animations, audio, graphics, interactive simulations, and quizzes. It gives instructors flexibility in creating engaging presentations.
The media player also contains a built-in quiz engine that instructors can use to integrate self-assessments throughout their presentations. The quiz engine supports various question types, such as multiple-choice, multiple-select, fill-in-the-blank, and short answers. In addition, this media player has undergone comprehensive testing to ensure it is accessible with screen readers and currently complies with Level A of WCAG 2.0 standards.
