Ethan cultivated a deep love for learning about computers, programming, and web and mobile application design and development.

Ethan graduated from McFarland High School in June 2005 and attended Madison Area Technical College, where in 2009, he received his Associate of Applied Arts degree in Visual Communication and Media Design. He also graduated from Lakeland University in 2013 for a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Computer Science, and he is currently pursuing Master of Science degree in Computer Science at DePaul University.

Currently, Ethan is employed at the University of Wisconsin–Extension division of Continuing Education, Outreach & E-Learning where he is one of the key players behind the scenes in designing web-based learning applications for students and faculty. Although Ethan is currently employed, he also does contracted/part-time web design and development for non-profit organizations, small businesses, and individuals.
