3D Dance Party: Charming Charleston
For this project, we were tasked with creating three-dimensional stop motion animation. We were given a pre-assembled armature, that I then fabricated to look like a flapper of the 1920s. I choreographed the piece my armature would do, and used videos of myself for reference. Using a green screen, I would move the armature slightly each frame and shoot a photo. Some sections of the final animation were loops, while others were shot from beginning to end. The shoots were then composited and arranged in After Effects. I removed the color and the green screen was replaced with a background.
The piece is called Charming Charleston.
