Mandala Made with Geometric & Organic Forms
For this project, we first started by taking photographs of both geometric and organic forms. We later sketched/traced these photographs to create our assets. These assets were then used to create many different mandalas. The goal was to combine both the geometric and organic elements to create an interesting mandala. We learned about what it took to make our designs visually compelling, such as contrast, movement (to and through.) We refined our designs (using them on mockup templates to see what they may look like in person,) until we had one final mandala. This design would next be made into a rubber stamp.
