The „Bridges over the Vistula" board game is one of our most exceptional works. The task set by our client—Agora SA—was to create an original and educational board game about Warsaw. We were responsible for the concept, design and production of the game. Our team consisted of a copywriter (the game tells the story of Warsaw, based on notes of Warsaw expert Jerzy Majewski), graphic designers / illustrators and a mathematician (to calculate a balanced set of rules). The game is educational and entertaining (players choose strategies, sing, recite, and perform other fun tasks to get closer to victory).

 

AWARDS & DISTINCTIONS

– silver in the European Design Awards 2013 competition;

– distinction in the „Design of the Year 2012” competition organized by the Association of Applied Graphic Designers;

– nomination for KTR award (Ad creators club)

 

EXHIBITIONS

– the Paris fair "Foire de Paris" in May 2013. The game was part of a display of industrial and 3-D design from Poland;

– „Design rebellion” exhibition, organized by the Association of Applied Graphic Designers;

– exhibition of the winners and nominees in the "Design of the Year 2012" contest organised by

the Association of Applied Graphic Designers, Dizajn Gallery, Wrocław 2013
