Shanghai 1/1 is a unique piece of the LANDCARPET rug series. It is based on an aerial image of a large part of Shanghai/China. The rug depicts the city on a large scale showing the districts of Puxi and Pudong and includes the island of Chongming. The dominating colors are green and blue with yellow indicating the city center, the Former French Concession.
