Auckland Marathon Identity Concept

This brandmark, with its simplified Harbour Bridge graphic, is bold yet distinctively playful. The geometric lines of the bridge combined with the contrasting typefaces work to convey a fun, festival vibe.
The condensed headline font ‘Rift’ gives the Auckland Marathon a bold, exciting tone, which is softened by the more playful and geometric ‘Scandia’. Bright teal and yellow are evocative of sunshine and the ocean, in keeping with the fresh, fun vibe of the brand. These colours are complimented by the green and ASB orange of the secondary palette. Patterns inspired by the lines of the logo add another playful asset, continuing the festival theme.
The colours and patterns can be used to distinguish the event brand pillars.
The logo, colours and patterns provide a flexible range of assets for use across merchandise and other brand comms.
