Zizzi Banside - London - Dover Design

These plywood fins which climb up the stairs and span the 22m length of the restaurant symbolise the Thames river which runs adjacent to the restaurant. The ceiling comprises of 21 veneered fins held to the ceiling with over 800 unistrut fixings. One of the major challenges was designing this feature to incorporate the sprinkler pipes, air conditioning units and lighting systems.
