On the ocassion of our 20th anniversary issue of komma magazine we looked for some designers from different countries with unique styles to create some posters for our issue. The task was freely interpretable: “What’s the thing you think of at the mention of the colour blue?” As a result we received six artworks which we don't want to hide from you!

This poster presents Väinämöinen, the main figure of the Finnish national epic “Kalevala” playing the song “I’m Blue” by the French band “Eiffel 65”.

Swimmingpools are a large part of the Icelandic culture. They inspire Greta Thorkels to create works like this, which conveys the feeling of immersing yourself in warm water and submerging in it.
