Gradual globalization links people and ideas across borders. The topic of internationality is more current than ever. Thus, for the
16th edition of the komma magazine we dare to go international. Several art works and interviews from various countries enrich this issue and show a colorful variety. Therefore, for the first time the magazine has been designed multilingual. All texts have been translated into English or are kept in the respective native language of the designers. To mirror the openness shown to us by international designers, we decided for an open spine which at the same time refers to the vulnerability of international relations. To
put their strength and consistency into contrast, a robust cellophane enwraps the cover. In this way, the komma magazine can start the travel around the world safely.
