Auf 144 Seiten haben wir uns mit dem Scheitern, der Konkurrenz unter Designer:innen, dem Kapitalismus, künstlicher Intelligenz, Sprache und weiteren gesellschaftsrelevanten Themen beschäftigt. Die komma 27 ist ein Versuch Misstände und Scheitermomente aufzuzeigen, sie anzuerkennen, Lösungen und Umgangsarten zu finden. Nicht mit einer toxischen Positivität, wie sie uns oft durch Social Media vermittelt wird, sondern nah an der Realität, konstruktiv, ehrlich und mit einem bisschen Spaß. Wir haben unterschiedliche Perspektiven dafür beleuchtet – Professor:innen, Designbüros, -agenturen, Autor:innen, Fotograf:innen, Studierende und uns – und sie in der komma 27 eingebracht.

On 144 pages we have reflects topics like failure, competition among designers, capitalism, artificial intelligence, language and other socially relevant topics. The komma27 is an attempt to point out grievances and moments of failure, to acknowledge them, to find solutions and ways of dealing with them. Not with a toxic positivity, as it is often presented to us through social media, but close to reality, constructive, honest and with a bit of fun. We asked different perspectives - professors, design offices, design agencies, authors, photographers, students, us - and brought them to komma 27.
