Paper Artifacts | Ephemera and Textures

Paper Artifacts | High-Resolution Paper Ephemera Pack
32 pieces of high-resolution paper ephemera including aged paper, tickets, record sleeves, old envelopes, and much more.

I've been junking for years collecting paper textures and ephemera. I always wanted to make a pack that included my favorite pieces.

So when I bought my Epson Perfection V600 scanner I went on a scanning binge cataloging my favorite paper textures in high-resolution (average size is 6000 x 8000 pixels).

I found these paper textures all over the place including California, Oregon, Washington, Georgia, and Ohio.

Here are a few of the textures in the pack...

Book ephemera. The front and back of books are full of little texture treasures. The most yellowed and aged textures are located in the front and the back. We scanned dozens and picked our favorites.

Old record ephemera. I found an extremely thin 45 made of flimsy vinyl at an antique shop in Portland, Oregon. The music on the record was used to play on Greyhound buses when they departed the station. Crazy.

Postal ephemera. Not much to explain here. Old postal service stuff is just cool. I included the front and back of some classic envelopes. It includes all those beautiful red and blue borders and nothing else so you can use it how you want.

Lots more. I won't go into all the stories of the pack here. But you'll find all sorts of goodies including:

• Record sleeves
• Library cards
• Bus tickets
• Government propaganda manual
• World War II paper with killer folds
• Mid-century era postcards

One of my favorite parts about this pack is how large the textures are.

On average, each piece of ephemera is 6000px by 8000px which means you can use it on everything from a book to a large poster.

Here are some of the ways I've seen customers use the textures:

• Zines
• Self-published comic books
• Websites
• Collateral packages
• Mock-ups
• Video games
