Challenge

Vodafone innovation labs came up with this innovative mobile app that lets you control your Vodafone TV Box with voice commands. From changing channels, controlling volume or even turning the TV on/off, you can do it all without the need of the traditional remote. Vodafone asked us to promote this innovative app on TV and Digital so it would help increase sales on their TV Box offer.

Solution Digital Campaign

The story continues on Youtube, the “online TV”.
To get people to have a glimpse of the true experience of controlling your home TV with your voice, we created a Youtube parallel.
We developed a browser plug-in that when installed allows you to control the Youtube platform with your voice. The plug-in uses the Youtube API to link your voice commands to the browser. You can control the current movie, the volume and even skip it to the next movies on the playlist. And the best thing is that you can keep it forever and use it every time you’re surfing Youtube, compliments of Vodafone TV.
