Not only through the object's concept, but as a moment within my body of work, this project signifies transition.  "Exploding Brooch," is a series of brooches intended to be worn across the chest as one, or many.  In their congruence, the brooches have a second intention: to be displayed as a group upon a wall.  Their formation is dictated by the wearer.
