"Four Knives" is a series of cutlery that explores the process of the knife as a utilitarian object.  Each knife is designed for a specific process and movement.  The shape of each blade and handle mimics the action and repetitious movement required of the body during use.  This "rocking" and pendulum-like rhythmic motion refers to the material and its existence.  (1.  Metal and its ability to cycle through many life forms.  2.  Concrete and the extensive process of hardening it goes through during it's lifetime.)
