Illustrations I did for Michael Mike's new album "Musica Negra. The design and art direction of the album was in charge of The Rock Instrument Bureau.
The idea for the album was to create a journey from micro to macro in which the pattern of "life" was always present. The pattern itself talks about the cycle of life and death and how reincarnation always leaves a trace behind. Either the composition of molecules had it's shape or rivers opening their way through sand would resemble it.
