A neurologist with more than two decades of experience, Dr. Yasser Awaad is a consultant at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Yasser Awaad also belongs to the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM), which will host its 71st annual meeting in September of 2017.
The AACPDM annual meeting will present information on cerebral palsy and other childhood-onset disabilities, ranging from diagnosis to prevention and treatment. Designed to educate and inform practitioners of the cerebral palsy community, the event will foster interdisciplinary communication and enable participants to explore the newest technical advances in the field. In addition, the meeting will encourage team building within and across organizations.
