Dr. Yasser Awaad belongs to the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, which is offering a movement disorder course in Italy in May.
The course, called Movement Disorders: Bridging Basic Science with Clinical Medicine, will discuss the latest advancements regarding movement disorders. Designed for scientists and clinicians in the movement disorder field, the course's goals include the generation of ideas that promote the development of new translational projects among movement disorder researchers.
Members of the Movement Disorder Society will receive discounted registration fees. The cost of registration covers all materials and course sessions.
Additionally, eligible nonmembers will receive a one-year associate membership in the Movement Disorder Society. The Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona, Italy, will host the course May 19 and 20, 2017.
