Hunters little Helper
YagerApp, for Ios and Android, is a React Native based App designed to make a hunters life easier.
Features are the viewing (on map) of deer stands in the vicinity and, if they are vacant, reservation for a future point in time.
As a little extra users can also play back mating calls of various deer directly on their smartphone.
The objective was to design a simple, clear user interface, optimized for use in dark environments (the forest).
Our approach was consequentially minimalistic:
● Simple, easily identified icons
● Distinct use of color (red for occupied, green for vacant…) and a dark background with bright typo and icons
● A minimalistic, sans serif typeface for enhanced readability
