Raised by Krump is a 22-minute documentary film that explores the Compton/South Central, Los Angeles born dance movement called “Krumping”, and the lives of some of the area’s most influential and prolific dancers.
My role was creating the graphic language including logotype, title sequences and website (where you can read more about the project).

The idea behind the logotype was to bring together the beautiful and the rough stories "Raised by Krump" tells, by using an italic serif typeface combined with rawer take on the "by".
Art brings people together.
