The big sister had done some research and had a few favourite styles, which were useful on the design.

The only very strict instructions I had were
"Do not put hearts everywhere, just because it's a wedding".
the Bride and Groom have now a brand!
SAVE THE DATE

Their story started with this drawing on a gift, so it was just logical to use them as inspiration for the SAVE THE DATEs.
The Save The Date were crucial to exist, due to the busy agendas of the couple and their friends spread throughout the globe.

It was a paper plane that unfolded to show the date and location of the wedding.
The couple lives in London but Craig loves Portugal and Lisbon, where Joana is from.
The wedding is in Lisbon.

WEBSITE

Since it was a location wedding, it was easier to give instructions and suggestions to the guests using an online platform.
So a website was created by the groom, using the Logo and the Save the Date picture.

INVITATION

Craig loves Portugal and it's a great excuse for friends and family to travel and have a small break somewhere sunny.
The wedding and reception are in Santos, a neighbourhood in Lisbon.

The reception is at the headquarters of the Portuguese Red Cross: a beautiful old building, with the walls decorated with traditional tiles. Joana loves it and she wanted the invitation to refer to the traditional Portuguese Tiles.

The invitation and its envelope - just missing the name of the guest, which was handwritten :)
Two versions were made: one in Engish and one in Portuguese
the finishing touch to the wedding invitation: The wax seal with the logo
Customised "branded" cufflinks for the Groom
CHURCH BOOKLET

The church ceremony was going to be bilingual, with readings in both Portuguese and English, so a church booklet was designed to help everyone to follow the ceremony.

The cobblestone image on the cover of the booklet was created by me, with a real picture of the cobblestone sidewalk and a lot of Photoshop! The end result was a success.
The booklet helped all the guests to follow the ceremony that had parts both in Portuguese and English
A SOUVENIR

Wedding favours time!
Joana loves the Portuguese tiles and thought it would be nice to give one as a wedding favour, but at the traditional tile company that we know, they didn't have anything like we wanted: Something simple and small. So we made one!

4x4cm tiles in 3 different colours
The stamp with a Thank You note and the date of the wedding was added afterwards.

THANK YOU CARD

After quite a bit of waiting on the wedding photos, I finally had an absolutely gorgeous photo to make the Thank You cards of.
