Here is a project of the L-Tune's second album cover artwork in which I proudly took part as a photographer.

 

After Kefir (the project's art-director and designer) got the final idea of the cover artwork, Alexey L-Tune Evdokimov started preparing the items for the photo session: he made the list of the symbols that can be found in his songs and painted them with matte white paint. The same time he painted the parts of his special outfit with yellow paint.

After all the necessary items were ready, we gathered in the photo studio and there started the most interesting part of the project.

After we finished taking pictures of the main composition as well as all the items from it seperately we switched to shooting L-Tune. Besides the all yellow outfit, Alexey covered his head with yellow make-up. Some time before Kefir designed and ordered the special made neon sign with the name of the album.

It took some time for Kefir to make the final design of the cover out of the all material we made. He also invited the well known calligraphist Sergey Shapiro to be a part of this project.

After the CDs were printed I was invited to take the photographs of the final product which also included postcards and a sticker.
