Day 31 - ?
It’s been a while since I thought a project needed  breakdown, but here’s to the last day of January. Jeepers that went quickly…
To be honest, I don’t like the final product. The glass reflections flicker, the . part of ? just shows up randomly at a certain frame, it’s too fast, gah. It took too long to render and I have other things to do. Many other projects have ended up in the bin because I thought they  were rubbish, but who cares.
The internet is full of perfection, everything you look at is someones best work, the hours of
refinement, the small details that turn something good into something amazing. Here’s something that’s by far not a great piece of work, but I’d end up deleting it and if that was the case I might have well streamed netflix all day.
So, this is ?, using x-particles with a network modifier and collider tag on the ‘?’. the front face comes on via 2 booles, also something I’m not thrilled about but that’ll be another day.

That dot just appears at somewhere around 200 frames

Post something you don’t like.
Turn on the frame rate display before you start… to see how fast the viewer plays back, mine dropped to 14fps during that boole close up hence it looked fine in the viewer but awful in the render.
