The theme depicts how technology is changing the way people will work in ASEAN in 2016 and beyond. Fishing for ideas for the cover design, also in the context of the upcoming ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) discussion that were to be held in Malaysia around that time, we imagined a map in our heads – of the future of the 10 AEC countries. One map shows the countries with each of them highlighting one significant economic activity, whereas the other map illustrates iconic buildings that the world has come to acquaint itself with those AEC countries.
